Ok so I'm not one to normally make a 'Roast' thread but watching today's game has left a very sour taste in my mouth as I'm sure it has with many of you.

How can we have gone from 8-3 to 9-7? That's 1-4 in the past five weeks, it just isn't good enough. It may be acceptable at Carlton but certainly not at Collingwood I would think.

We have become a club that is more focused on flogging its latest money making venture then looking after the faithful loyal supporters and it looks like the players are starting to show this.

The problem isn't just Bucks, it's the line coaches, fitness staff and skills coaches. How can a club with so much power and money sit back and accept this?

can we pls just combine all the roast threads into one gigantic megathread pls mods. There are to many of these threads atm. Thanks

You're right. No one from the club has as yet phoned me to apologise.
Was just thinking the same, Bucks is going to cop a fearful spray from me in our 360 degree feedback review when we sit down at the end of the season

Didn't see the game, but this is not a comment on the game.

I have been reassured by the messages coming out of the club, the emphasis on professionalism, excellence, leaving no stone unturned in order to achieve the best we can be. I listened to Buck's and Eddie's speeches at last year's Copeland, and afterwards felt both emotional and confident. I believe in Derek Hine. We have a champion for a captain. We have talented youngsters. We have top line facilities, and (I assume) every possible position filled that exists, or needs to exist, in our football department. Our VFL team is improving.

At times like this I am usually fatalistic. Losses happen. Bad seasons happen. I can deal with the ups and downs. But after showing so much promise in the first half of this season, this is so disappointing.

I don't know why. Is Bucks a poor communicator, has poor rapport with his charges? Are they not capable of playing how he wants? Have the injuries so distorted the way we wanted to play, and planned to play pre-season, that our confidence is completely shot? Add to that missed shots at critical times in games; poor decision making at critical times; some momentum-killing umpiring decisions throughout the course of the year; shocking clangers and turn overs in virtually every game; and players whose injuries never seem to heal; and you have a team that is playing like we are.

We need a thorough review of all aspects of our football department.

Everything you posted was spot on. If the club does the right thing the review will come.
