Anthony nearly single won you the 2001 G-Fizzle but right now you can say that Sav is the man. He just seems to have added a brain to his game (not saying that he never had one) and seems to be able to manage his body and play within himself. I dare say right now he is the Sav we all want. Well at Geelong I wouldnt mind

Sorry mate I didnt cain Anthony. Great player has single handly NEARLY WON YOU A FLAG....yes sorry I forgot to mention MANY OTHER GAMES. Just wanted some non ANFGY BOY comments on the Rocca bros. I would have had Anthony a few years back, now though the Big Sav by a mile. What did you get for them, could have you kept Sav?

It was 2002 not 2001.
Anthony is the better player (and has been for the last 5 years) but Sav has probably had the better career (and a hugely underated one at that).

Sav's game the other night reminded me of why we got rid of him. He struggles against the good full backs and Presti's definitely one of the best.

It's not that he's not capable, but he's unreliable to stand up when you need him. Anthony, if fit, will always provide a good target and CHF is a far more difficult position to be that target.

Sav's got the runs on the board, but Anthony is a superior player...by a fair margin!

At this point in time, and for a few years now, Anthony has been the better footballer. Sav's record is frickin handy though.

Sav has a pretty good record V the best at North. Still beats Fletcher, has a sensational record V Brissie. He is a bully, as he will reign fire upon duds and this gets more and more obvious as he gets older.

Sav was ordinary on Friday, but he was leading to sh1t most of the night and our midfield was beaten. Presti is great at what he does, and he couldn't drop to the square and moster him in 50/50's. Presti wrestles better than most.

He has been amazing for North, and in his last year, he still has a few bags left in him.

Anthony is a better player imo, but Sav will retire with an awesome record. He averages 3 goals a goal which if you look at all the current full forwards in the game, that puts him in the elite. Combined, he has won 10 goal kicking awards at Collingwood and the Kangaroos. He has kicked 663 goals in 221 games, as well as spening a fair chunk of time in the ressies. I was sad to see him leave Collingwood, and spewing we didn't get something for him, but it was probably what he needed at the time.

Given the service he has given North, what do you think would have been a fair trade price. Look at Thompson who cost North pick 10 & 26. Sav was worth a bit imo and we just delisted him
