Very keyed up to see him running out in navy blue for the first time, but i heard he maintained a corked hip while playing against the dogs. I'm not too fussed since if he misses round 1 he'll be alright for round 2, but I'm just curious to know what his chances are to play against Richmond?

Guess we'll know in about 24 hours. The club wouldn't risk him, that's for sure.

I thought the hip injury occurred the following week at training? I agree with not risking him if not 100%, he would be shattered to miss the first game of the season (like the rest of the Blues supporters I suppose).

With teh shortage of rucks due to injury Sentanta may have to shoulder some of the ruck work with Cloke??

geez i hope the kreuze and hammer get up for this however unlikely. Loved seeing some decent big men running around for us here in adelaide for the port game. Cant wait to get over there....leave in about 35 hours !!!!!!!!! Frick double frick

Ackland won't play. Is not physically ready or so i've heard. Is unfit and it will take him a few weeks for him to get into any type of match fitness.

Hampson had minor knee surgery i think, removal of some cartilage? Please anyone correct me if i'm wrong. There was an article released a few days ago that mentioned the club was hopeful that he would be ready for round one. Right now it doesn't look the case but i have a feeling he might end up surprising us all.
