That is the same style the they still use today. Some clubs used different styles of numbers but all have come back to the style that is used today.
The problem with finding yellow numbers is that most clubs have the borders around the yellow or gold numbers. It started with Brisbane, and was soon adopted by Adelaide and West Coast.
Try a large sports store like Rebel, which should have them available for local clubs. These will become less available as numbers are more iron on these days.
The new afl numbers have the new afl logo on the bottom and the yellow ones have the white border..
Am after all yellow and without the afl logo..
