HALFTIME - CFC 6.8.44 to EFC 7.8.50

Well its been alright so far, Essendon is playing pretty well, hopefully we can come back harder and more agressive and get some more goals on the board in the 2nd half. Need to shut down hile and lovett murray, and need to get ball down to forwards more, so lets hope its a good 2nd half. Bit nervous, but hoping we can pull through

Yep Essendon have been playing really well today. The good thing i believe for us is that we have been playing very ordinary and we are only down by a goal so hopefully we can turn it on in the 2nd half and start to play some decent footy

yeah we have done in last 2 matches, turned the 2nd half around, so fingers cross that we can do the same thing

WELL DONES FELLAS!! WELL DONE JOHNO!!! This is a massive victory and like i have said in other threads will go a long way in our confidence

Outstanding players for me: Bucks, Johno, Clement, Maxwell, Shaw, Didak, Thomas

Our forward line did well to keep the pressure on, fantastic effort and allowed cracks in essendons defence to for which = goals or shots at goal

Midfield pressure was great in the 2nd half, lonie wasnt bad, dane swan bit quiet i thought at times, Obree was solid, Fraser did well, Richards is getting better

Backmen were pretty good, very solid, led by clement, Presti was quite good, so was lockyer, obrien was pretty average but what i did like about his game was his ability to stay calm when he made mistakes and recover which is what u want to see really and was a good at the pressure.

But yeah was a great game in the end, and glad to see we won the ANZAC day, next step is to win 4 in a row and we havent done that for a couple of years. So lets keep it rolling boys!!

Yep he did, topped off what was a great game of footy......Your side is looking like you will play a big part in September, that's if you can remain injury free.....

Yeah fingers crossed we stay relatively injury free. It was good today that we still managed to kick a high score with Rocca, Tarrant and Fraser only kicking one goal between them.

ohh, great win, what an occasion, a day ill remember for quite a while, i was inside the ground from noon till 6 and i loved every bit. great game by the boys, really was. oh, whatta game!

Any win against those p**icks is a great win! Again, our second half was terrific as opposed to our first half which was shocking. Should've been well down at quarter time. The Forwards lifted their workrate, the pressure was back to its best and Essendon didn't know what to do with it down back.

Presti was superb, Travis Cloke presented well in the second half, Holland was there when we needed him, as too Didaaaaaaaaaaak. Craig Johnstone was great, continually breaking the lines, Maxwell courageous as ever and Dale Thomas, he is going to be someting special.

Great win considering Buckley wasn't at his brilliant best and we got smashed at the stoppages.

Fraser, what was wrong with him today? Very ordinary game from the big fella

I wouldnt say he was ordinary Hille kicked 3 goals 1 of them was on josh thats it. Josh had 15 touches 7 marks 19 ho to Hille 19 touches 29 ho, and spent the whole day on the ground compared to Josh who spent alot of time off and up forward.
