gaff might be a good player but i think your over rating him abit. i have played against him twice this year. one game he was very quite and the other he did alright in a team winning by 100 points.

yeh mate rekon ur under rating him bcoz everytime i have seen him play for skoool he just runs & runs and gets a tone of the ball and used it superbly i rekon u may have seeen him on the very few quiet games he has which is not often

so its not only me that thought he didnt get as much of the ball as he shouldve.

while, when he got the ball, he was unstopable. He acctually didnt get as much of it as we thought he would.

I heard one game however he got 55 possesions, a scary thought for someone with his skill.

yeah he did get 55 possensions, 22 in the first quarter:thumbsu:, i played in that game with him and we won by almost 130 points

I had the impossible task of tagging Andrew Gaff for a quarter a few weeks ago in the YJFL and when i say it is impossible...i mean it.

He has no clear weakness, great build, great overhead mark, great left foot kick, excellent pace.

Only downside for him is that he doesnt have a right foot but he can often make up for it with his sublime skills on his left.

Henry Thomas, from scotch, at last measure is up to 6 foot 5. He has improved incredibly over the last few years and im sure he will continue to do so. Also from scotch Alex King and Andrew White look very good. Kingy especially has had a great season. He is built like a KPP and he has a fair motor with fair pace but it is his ability to find the footy and break-away from packs is his standout feature. He can single-handedly keep the scotch team in games with his massive amounts of clearances.

Also from scotch, watch out for Gene Van Den Brooke for next season. Has been out with a back injury all of this year. Has the best hands iv ever seen and his skills are exellent as well.
that has got to be a scotchy comment, any player can be shut down with enough heart and balls, clearly u laced both saintbot

well leapinlouie400 if im not mistaken you play for a terrible team in green division, who are undefeated and win every game by about ten goals...yeh gaffs a gun but like nick morris got 25 possessions in that game, and thats saying something

hhah got wrecked. its easy dominating shit leagues and my point goes in in a game they lost he played shit, in a game they pumped us he played good

mikka get sum flipping facts all u have is 1 game so until u see him play more u cant say anything about his performance and how good he is

spot on. he is easily up there with the best, how can anyone rate anyone after 1 or 2 games. disgraceful. Gaffy's a gun, i dont see y people cant settle on it

you guys are so stupid. you both go to carey and your both good mates with him probably stop being so biast. against us he played shithouse. simple as that im not saying he is shit but he hardly got a kick.

If you didn't go to Carey you wouldn't get so defensive about him and have a go at people that don't think he's that good.

But Carey are good at footy so they can say what they like...

Calm down with the language mate you would hate it if Old School, Mad Dog or one of the other moderators saw this. And the reason he played badly was coz u guys were dogging him off the ball with punches, hardly fair.

typical anti-scotch comment...

heart and balls...mate!

the guy clearly has been coached well to try and over-come the tag. Sure im no world class tagger, in fact thats the first time iv ever been assigned to tag a player.

If this guy can build on his right foot, so well that he uses it consistently in games, (rather than doing a U-turn to get back onto his much prefered left boot), then ill pencil him in as a certain draftee in 2010

A lot to watch out for from a team who hardly won a game

Typical Scotch comment. You guys wouldn't know what a tag is.

i pencilled him in years ago

What's there to enlighten?

You're just regarded as a softer team. Point being you're not used to playing accountable football.

OWNED!
1 typical scotch moment that I can remember from our encounter was after the game how all their players ran out complaining about umpires cos we beat them, i thought i saw a tear in the big fella henrys eye
