After all the dust has cleared and I can think straight again all I can say is that I am still pissed, it feels like one of those days where I just want to bury my head in the sand, talk to noone, avoid the tv and pretend I don't care about football anyway

what annoyed me was that all year the rfc has been asking supporters to put our hard earn money in for this ftf . i have put alot in , upgraded membership to social club. everything to help the club out. it annoyed me to see maric griffits jacko king martin up there watching. why send them up there if there inj or suspened. theres 5000 in airfairs hotel rooms that could have been put into the fighting tiger fund. waste of money

Great point.thought exactly the same thing i have also contributed to the FTF & social club member.
It is a long flight up & back surely a rest would be in order .
Ivan & Griff two big blokes wouldnt have liked the uncomfortable plane trip up.
Dusty should have been with our supporters at the Social Club.Maybe the pain they felt during & after the game by the supporters would have really hit home to him! No bigger lesson he could have learnt there!

I think thats a good point and something that the club needs to expect donors to be looking at.

Some people would have given to the point of hurting and yet it wouldnt have covered half the air fair and accomodation of a player to be up there as a spectator.

Dangerous ground asking supporters to simply donate as opposed to generating the money through other means. The benefit of having those players up there will be scrutinised. Its a bit of denial, In that we want to present ourselves like Collingwood but really we need to make penny pinching decisions like Bulldogs and Kangaroos.

We really need the ExDuds fund where ex duds to grow a concious and return money that they didnt live up to.
Big dollars would be there for the taking if we had that one. Benny would know who they were.

I cant believe i feel the same way..

All day today i have felt flat... but i still put on my Richmond Polo shirt... but must admit, i could have swapped it easily for my South Sydeny NRL Polo...

I love the Tigers and pray we can still make the 8 after this disasterous loss...... Next week is the final straw for us...

No excuse for losing to a bunch of kids who've been together less than 3 years. We had enough talent and experience in that team to win the game. Pathetic first half. Shameful.

They are maybe a year behind us at most seems we started a huge rebuild with a new coach in 2010 they started their list in 2010. Both teams have a handful of older players.

So, has McGuane saved his career by re-inventing himself as a KPF. He looked pretty good yesterday, all things considered, and I've been one of his biggest critics.

It was great to see Kel Moore back. I'd almost given up hope. Good servant of the club is Kel, and good bloke to boot.

Maybe a 1 year deal unless someone else steps up in the next 7 weeks.

On your points - we too have a bunch of kids together less than 3 years (2 years in fact)
- They too had enough talent and experience to win the game
- Agree, we did lose the first 2 quarters, not good enough. To their credit the boys fought back and regained the lead; awesome 3rd quarter.

Take a step back and look at the big picture, we are still very much on our way to regular finals appearances. Book mark it.

Outside our best 22 we have very little to be excited about. Coburg is bereft of any richmond depth. Could easily trim another 8 players this year. As many of us said earlier in the year, we were only a couple of injuries/suspensions away from disaster. It's here.

That's because we've got so many injuries there is nobody at Coburg. Any club in the league would struggle with our injury list - granted, they'd still probably beat GC.

That's partially to do with the fact we are 3rd year of a rebuild with 2 compromised drafts. We've improved the 22 now its time to get some depth.

As already stated we looked like we were in holiday mode intensity wise until half time rocket. Martin hung around for a few boundary line snaps before heading to airport where he probably stocked up on some "i've been to cairns" tshirts

it's good knowing there are more calm, logic, level minded but loyal supporters other than me and a few others.

we'll do our best to finish the season as strongly as possible and whatever result we get is the result we deserve. then we'll have a big pre season and again do our best, hopefully finish 8th.

I counted Maric, Dusty, Foley, Dylan, Vickery, King, Griffo. Then on game day we lose our Newie and Batchelor. So there's another half-dozen or so on top of our "couple of injuries".

Although the darksiders won't agree Jacko is best 22. Also to cap it off our back ups (23-28 guys on the list) have been injured/suspended/sacked. Helbig/Astbury/White/Connors.

No problem with you speculating, I'm just telling you the facts.

Most footy Ivan's ever played in his life, got a knock last week, was sore.

no probs dude, at the end of the day, tipping he has been in the thick of things in games for about 99.9 % of the season. Be it in the middle, down back, in the FL and pretty much getting battered from the first siren to the last siren. Now all that remains is to find this machine some help ASAP, because we gunna run him into the ground. And i am not talking Tys etc, unless he becomes angry and quick. Because by the time Ty is ready to mix it, it will be to late and we miss a golden opportunity to win a flag with a dominant ruckman who can hit a target at will, has vision and awarenes etc etc...so get that message to the brains trust and tell them, we have a ruckman to take us to the top, lets not run him into the ground.

Mate Tigers are not playing good enough to make finals , we have done a u turn since the Freo game & IMO North Melbourne will smack us, 10 plus goals if it is dry weather.
