For some odd reason over the last few weeks I have found myself more and more satisfied with loosing by smaller margins. Is this the same with anyone else? Its just a bit wierd thats all, despite the fact we haven't won a single game alot of us have been satisfied with looses from winable games.

Could this also be affecting the players? Loosing culture=bad culture

I think it is more that the blokes we have playing are giving a real go, unfortunatly the guys dont have the engines to run a game out yet, shouldnt be too long before we start continuing with our early leads and either blowout teams or just win a game.

I'm feeling that I'm losing interest. Especially the last 2 weeks. However, I've only missed the 1 game in Melbourne against Collingwood (by being interstate), and all the interstate games obviously. The passion really died away the week during the Brisbane game. Probably the draw made it just a flat sort of no result feeling and now all I did was listen to the Freo game. You really need a visual so I'll get that during the week.

But it really hurts every week. The Essendon game was probably the worst. Just all the emotion involved. Big build up with the ceremony, friends and hating Essendon so much. To lose the way we did was sickening. The West Coast game I thought we could have come from no where to win and that was disappointing aswell.

But, I'm never satisfied as such after a loss. A win is the only acceptable result. I want a premiership and finals. Losses dont get you that. Bottoming out doesnt get you that.

you do know that "losing" is spelt with one "o" right?

I couldn't give a shit whether we win or lose. That's the worst thing. I know a win would be great, but apathy has well and truly set in. It's like some sort of safety blanket. No matter the situation, we will lose. I can't see us winning for the rest of the year. The realisation that we are going nowhere fast is the worst.

desensitised is the word you're looking for, doesn't hurt anymore coz we accept it and know whats coming, pretty sad really...:o

Not at all satisfied, even if we were to have won the game I would not be satisfied with the year. It hurts because they are not a bad side, in reality, they are just lacking when it counts and that is experience. Losing the way we are is not breeding a bad culture because we are competitive in games, losing where we get belted each week is when it gets bad. Listen to the players they all say that they need to keep faith in the plan Wallace has in place and the results will come. Our time will come but until then there is a lot more pain ahead.

Definately don't want to be winning games at this stage of the season - should we 'somehow' get on a mini roll and win 4 games for the year, the long term sacrifice would be detrimental to the club and our future.

Add 3 top 20 picks including pick 1, add Symmonds, Brown and Cogs, take into consideration another pre-season into the likes of Foley, Lids, Edwards, Thursfield, Hughes, Patto, Tambling, (who showed a bit last night) etc. and things could change pretty quick. Make the 'hard' decisions on players like Tivva's, Knobel, KK, and even Tuck and Johnson (that's right, Johnson) and free up same $$$ and space on the list.

The key now, IMO, is getting games into Casserly, Connors, Peterson, Reiwoldt, Hughes, etc. to see if we have some REAL talent amongst the youngies.

A big club like ours aspiring to dip into the "You are crap-lets help you out so we dont lose your supporter base" system is a constant source of embarrassment.

Who would be satisfied?. Im getting sick of this stuff year in year out.

The only people who are satisfied are the fat women who go to the football calling the players by thier first name as if they are thier son or something.

Get your shit together Richmond.
