2day, the army award was taken down to six finalists, 3 of them were alwyn davey's, thats and amazing statistic, surely he's won it???

Hopefully he wins it. But the thing is his votes will be scattered. I voted for the Hawks game, it's what the award is all about. Hard work. Smothers it, gets up for second effort where he pressures Hodge to boundary line, then goes for it again and got a free kick. ****ing legend.

Surely if there is a judging panel, they would accumulate his points behind doors and allocate the award to whichever of his efforts got the majority...

It would be a travisty if he, as a player, got the most votes, but as a moment, didn't win the award...
