Sad news is that Arthur Edwards has passed away, one of the 1954 Premiership players.

Played 120 games between 1951 & 1960.

Sending all my best to the Edwards family, and a sad day for the Footscray Football Club.

Sad too that he, nor EJ, got to see another bulldog team walk off the MCG with a premiership cup.

It is always sad to read when one of our Premiership players dies. Hopefully there will be some of them still around to enjoy our second Premiership in the next few years.
