I'm enjoying the game, the Community and customisation aspect is very good, gameplay is decent and animations are getting there.

It's my first BA game and it is nowhere near as disastrous as people claim about them. I don't buy games often and I have zero regrets for dropping the money on this one.

It's alot better than DBC17 where you can't hit it off the square

There's alot of annoying shit that I've just come to deal with, it's okay to play otherwise

I like the game. Aside from the bugs (yes there's a lot) it's fun. Playing against friends is good. Depending on the difficulty it's extremely hard to hit a 4 let alone hit a 6.

If they fix all the bugs (wtf is the go with hotspot, you have to put a pair of sunglasses on the screen is that bright) it will be a fantastic game.

Also is there a way to saved your field placement? It lasts the over then changes back.

I have DB17 and have pretty much given up on it - is this a decent enough game worthy enough to splash out more $, or is it more of the same?

I only upgraded recently and i reckon it's a lot better but it depends what you play the game for. For me, the new controls changed things up a bit as Career mode can get boring after awhile. The addition of Ireland and Afghanistan into the regular teams you play in Career also was important for me and the licenced players is good as well. Batting animation is a lot better as well now. Still could be better but coming from DBC17 you'll notice the difference so if that stuff is important for you i would get it if not i would wait til the next one which hopefully has more modes.
