What has happened to this guy? He does not look likely to figure in the Eagles team on Saturday? I have always been a fan of him, good hands, chases tackles, kicks goals. Has he been injured or has his lost his way? Perhaps a change of scenery will spark this explosive indigenous talent?

Kingsley could be one plank but would need more than that obviously.

I'd stay away from him to be honest. IMO, he doesn't appear to have the mental capacity to play at the highest level.

He's been very disappointing, but he has a future in the AFL. If he gets his head right, he may turn out okay.

He was #6 in the 'superdraft' of 2001.

That might be where we're going wrong. AFL clubs need to encourage their players to do more of that stuff.

If you move him away from WA perhaps the issues outside of football will subside also.

I think he is worth a look but I wouldn't pay through the nose for him. If we could get a third rounder for Kent that would be my limit, he is currently behind a bloke that Melbourne delisted and the Eagles rookied last year.

Sit him down, tell him it's his last chance at AFL football and get someone like Cupido, equally talented equally lazy, to have a talk to him about second opportunities and regrets.

As for Gaz, it's time he had a big pre season and became super fit so he can play full time out of the centre, the position we need him in the most IMO.

In Sampis defence his off field problems aren't his doing, he's just a victim of circumstance. He should manage his problems better though...

Either way, I doubt he'll be traded. We tend to be conservative with regards to trades and its not good policy to trade guys right when they need help from the club.

Also, I'm very confident Smaps will come good soon.

there is no way the issues that he has will resolve themselves enough for him to become the player we want and need. If he was that good, he would be in the eagles side - lets face it, the eagles dont have a surplus of forwards, so I would think they would play him more if her were right to go.

I dont think also that he would leave WA because of his strong family connections in the north of the state.

Yeah as Jimmy said. I saw at least three guys, posting all over BF and quoting each other with a huge banner of their website/forum. You might have seen a guy a few days back mention/spam about the same site "hacksa....". Also posted a pretty sick x-rated pic of a bloke in many of the threads. But yeah saw someone else saying it was crashing their computer because of the size of the pic.

I do not believe Geelong has players who display similar characteristics to Sampi, he is certainly a different type of small forward to Chapman and Ablett, he is far better overhead for one thing and is good on the lead. Johnson is even less like him, he is a forward flanker not a pocket for starters and he cant mark to save himself.

Besides I think we all agree that our two most talented smalls in Ablett and Chapman could be better used in the midfield to cure our obvious midfield weakness.

He is top 6 draft pick, who has on occasion dominated games of AFL, to say clubs would not be interested in him highlights naivety in the extreme. More likely case is that Eagles will not be willing to trade him. Its not likely to happen but you will debate players of far less quality than Sampi on this forum and I think the Club should at least ask the question.
