What roles would you consider a promotion from Head of Development? I would've thought that position is up there in terms of prestige. Are line coaching jobs higher in the pecking order?

as a development coach. Yes please. That guy is a well renowned mentor for young players in teaching them how to train and prepare like professional athletes. He is universally respected as an incredible athlete who trains harder than anyone. Exactly who I'd want working with our kids.

The Pies development role could include transition to retirement pension training, how to get a seniors card for pendles and Sidey etc, figuring out how to get a whistle tor Floppy Nicky so that he can formally umpire games (as opposed to informally as he does now). Plenty of things to work out - just no young talent to nurture.
