Hey all
I will be coaching an under 18 team in the EDFL, A Grade, next season. Now I am looking for somebody to be an assistant coach.
Role Requirements:
- Games will be saturday morning, approx around 10am
- You will be the runner
- Must have a footy brain and will have the opportunity to help develop the players and offer tactic suggestions and we will basically be bouncing off eachother
- Training is most likely to be after 5pm on tuesdays and thursdays. It will not be mandatory to be there as there will be a trainer who will be assiting me but you must be there on game day
The Team
- I was an assistant coach with the team in the under 16's in B grade last season. They are a great bunch of kids and have some rep players. The whole team bar 4 players will move up to the 18's this year.
- We will have about 8 or 9 top age players coming in and we are on the prowl to recruit more.
- We think that if the team is well coached and the players are switched on then there is the potential to be reasonably successful.
- Moving to A grade will be a big jump but a lot of the best players will be playing with their rep teams so we definitely can win a few games or more
- The administration at the club are well organised and welcoming
- You do not get paid for the role however if u love footy it brings great satisfaction being involved in the whole process and it looks great on your resume.
- SO if your interested Private Message me and we'll go from there
Cheers
