More of an AFL player then MorrisGrimes for Morris I reckon, Dea should be depth only he doesn't look like an AFL player. We might as well try Astbury forward because our forward line won't be kicking a winning score the way it is currently.

Vickery to ruck makes sense except for the fact that he is a complete soft **** as a ruckman. I don't know how many times we have to repeat this. Average at boundary throwins but scared of being jumped into at bounces. If we are going to give Maric a rest then it has to be someone else. Vickery is pretty much useless (sorry to say) but only an option as a forward (and only if we have injuries and have to play someone there). He's just too soft as a ruck.
I'd rather Hampson as back up ruckman and that's saying something!
Batchelor is a good 3rd tall. Can play tall or short. Out of a bit of form (like many!) but when playing well he's got that position sewn up IMHO.
Batch is the new whipping boy i see. clearly above many in the 22 so lmao at the suggestion of dropping batch.
Wasn't Astbury drafted as a forward anyway?
How was Eltons job yesterday? Apparently he turned in a pretty average one last week.Jumped well at the ball in the centre yesterday.... In fact changed his approach during the Bris game last year... Needs to spend more time as the ruck to be honest. Is clearly better in this area after he worked on it.... He really needed to as well.
I find it hilarious the criticism directed at TV yesterday. He played like he hadn't played an AFL game in 6 months.... which is almost as long as it has been.... He looked rusty and he was. Clearly feels the pressure of expectation too... like the rest of the team it seems.
Needs to be played as part of a 3 tall forward line. If Griff isn't ready next week then leave Astbury forward and bring Elton down back.....

Did he ever start?

Spot on Morro and who said queenslanders knew **** all .I thought our fwd line looked much more
Dangerous with Astbury roaming around aswell.
Not really. He's just one of a number of poor-average skilled footballers in the line up. Morris is the whipping boy.Batch is the new whipping boy i see. clearly above many in the 22 so lmao at the suggestion of dropping batch.

The forward line opened up massively with Astbury there as he forced Taylor to be accountable and lead up to the footy across the half forward line rather than being stagnant standing next to Jack .
