Can't believe Roddick won in the end. Astounding result.

And oh my god at Azarenka, I swear she was going to lose to Cibulkova. Maybe she really needs a loss soon.

Wow Roddick! I saw highlights of him beating Muller 3 and 2 and though he looked in good touch. But didnt think he woud get near Fed. Was he playing aggresive or was Federer average? Vika almsot lost to Cilbukova of all players shame she got through.:p Venus beat Ivanovic 6-7 6-2 6-2.

Mostly Federer was average. In the first set I don't think Roddick made a single winner that wasn't an ace, but his serve was working beautifully, as was his forehand. Fed on the other hand was making plenty of winners but also missing quite a few regulation shots. The second set was vintage Federer, but he was below his best for the rest of the match.

Also, such a pity Cibulkova couldn't get over the line against Azarenka. At a set and 5-2 up I was sure she had her.

Just caught up with today's play. Maybe Roddick has finally really that being so f***ing passive with his forehand over the years has cost him, wow I didn't he had that flat forehand in him. Amazing match, once Roddick got the break in the third, the momentum just rode with him. Very happy for him.

Sam played fairly well but just ran into a crazy serving Serena. Sam will be ruing her chances in the first set, she got off to a fantastic start and was leading up until the 8th game *4-3 where she served 3 df's in one game that got her on the back foot, saved a bunch of break points but eventually Serena got her away, couldn't get onto Serena's serve after that. All in all, she's looking fine for the clays eason.

Credit to Venus, thoguht she was horrific against Wozinak, must of stepped it up against Ivanovic.

So I just got onto live scorehunter and see Woz accounted for Serena in straights. It seems her epic serving wasn't there, but seriously well done Woz. I'm not a fan of her's to be honest but she cops way too much crap.

Interesting to note Ferrer has taken the first set over Delpo 6-3, its now 1-1 in the second. It was just the one break of serve, from one point. I guess if your winners aren't on song v Ferrer you will get done by his pushy game. Anyway I'm meant to be doing homework, so I won't stream it. :p

How the hell did Wozniacki beat Williams? Another baffling result. That's her first win over Serena.

Really Roddick? Really....

Really Serena? Really.... (Actually, I can't stand Serena so that result is ok)

But it was like Roddick completely forget yesterday and went back to his old self. I know this is a too commonly used phrase on MTF but what a mug. Seriously.... Horrendous match.

Didn't see Serena's match but I can't work out that one either.

Watched most of the men's matches, Ferrer looked really good in his match, might give Djoko a little bit of trouble if Djoko comes out in 2nd/3rd gear like he was today. Nadal is the same with Tsonga, will need to step up a level from today's match. Fish is playing ok again but he's taking advantage of a good draw.

Now to see if Larry Stefanki has killed Andy Roddick yet....

Upsets galore. Radwanska beats Venus (not that surprising but the scoreline was) and Azarenka lost to Bartoli, the latter understandable as Azarenka seemed both mentally and physically exhausted throughout the tournament. It's a loss that she needed to put the streak to bed.

Nadal just sneaking through the quarters over Tsonga, match with Murray could be interesting but can't be completely conviced on Murray either.

Momaco will get more support than Fish tomorrow

I'm kinda over Miami to be honest. Anyway, Monaco accounted for Fish comfortably, Djokovic beat Ferrer.

Women's final will be between Radwanska and Shaz. Couldn't give a stuff who wins. At least Azarenka finally lost.

Also if Serena really has snagged Dimitrov, she's gone up a cog in my book :p

Maybe that taxing game style is beginning to take its toll on Rafa, although there seems to be a bit of conjecture over his injuries.

Also apparently the lights went out the other day in the Radwanska Bartoli SF. LOL.

Can't wait for European clay, its hard to get an idea of what's happening in the states.

Geez Murray is going to be the freshest player in a final ever. Has only had to play 3 matches to make it.

I've most of the television coverage this week and I think I have seen only 5 games of his. He has a good shot at the final though with Djoko seemingly in and out of patchy and good form, was lucky to get through Ferrer in straight and same for the 2nd set with Monaco.

Fish's effort against Monaco in the QF's was downright hilarious.

Aga Radwanska! Miami Champion! :thumbsu:

She was just too solid for Sharapova, who made far too many unforced errors. There was nothing spectacular from Radwanska, but she just kept on getting everything back.

I shouldn't have been surprised by that result. Radwanska hit only 5-6 winners for the whole match.

Agreed matt, rubbish final.

Relief more than anything as a Djokovic fan, because the final was pretty torturous. Both had like double the errors to winners, Murray couldn’t serve and Djokovic couldn’t break in the second despite numerous opportunities. Pretty sad that Noavk is like unable to win extended rallies anymore, and I'm sick of him being so passive.

Feel surprisingly flat after a big tournament win.

Glad i didnt get up to watch it then. Because of the result and quality. By the way i really hope the clay season isnt like last year on ESPN when you couldnt even see the ball!
