so australia won the ashes. Not because there great but because:
jesus im so pissed with pointing with the run out to jones. ok warne makes a big appeal as usual so jones lets his guard down and pointing runs in and knocks the wickets over showing no sportmanship.

1. Bad Decisions (not have monty in 1st test line up captaincy should have been strauss)
2. horrible bowling in first test.
3. Young players with not much experience and 6 of the players with no test or odi experience in australia.
4. Injuries to big key players such as tressy vaugny and s jones.
5. idiot umpires make bad decisions on strauss which caused 2nd test lose.
6. Australia won because england didnt play anywhere near as good and consistant.
Oh and have enjoy the ashes for the 2 and half years cause no way they will have a chance in 2009 with full sided england vs australia side with no Langer,Hayden,gilchrist,warne and mcgrath.

oh wait but consgrove with his awesome 22 average in fc will be an awesome substitute right? ha

jaques only good on australia pitches.

no good spinners at all monty will be better than any of the australian spinners and you know it.

i used to like warne but he is just a tosser. He appeals for nothing in apparently the best bowler in the world my ass.

Like McGrath before the 2nd test? Out of the last 8 games with McGrath we are 4 wins, 2 draws and 0 losses. Without McGrath we are 2 losses - no wins, no draws.

Yes thats right, Australia won cause they were the better side and played good consistent cricket. To beat a side at home should be a tough assignment - the fact that Australia have won so many series away from home is an indication of how good a side they are.

Saying Australia has no future in cricket is an idiotic comment. We have the best set up to bring youth into champoin players. The ford ranger and pura cup is the best standard and platform to prepare young players for international cricket.

S Tait, M Clarke, C White as a batsmen then leggie, S Watson, M Johnson, A Voges, D Cullen then even though you don't rate jaques and cosgrove at least 1 will prove you wrong. We will have a bright future it may be hard to be as dominate as we have been for the last ten years but we will be top 2 in the world at least for a very long time.

As for Australia struggling in the years to come, we were gone when McDermott and Hughes retired and then alone came McGrath and Warne. We were gone when the Waugh brothers retired and along came Hussey and Clark.

Heard it so many times before, I'll believe it when I see it.
