And mog, you can go sign up.. but I would have thought most people would have gotten annoyed at people advertising, and would therefore not sign up.

and I apologized I didn't know the rules, every other forum I am on you can advertise a site even if it is of the same because if you want fans of australian football to join your site you are not going to go and advertise on a basketball site are you?

Yes I am australian living in america and I love my australian football thats why I made this site, as I dont get to watch it as much anymore, and I love to talk about it not for money or anything.

So again sorry for advertising I didn't know it was against the rules.

Look in all honesty, they more than likely just don't want too see forums full of spam promoting other forums left right and centre - you know how these things can get out of hand fairly quick.
But then again I was added to one forum starter's MSN list just recently with the sole purpose of him asking me what I thought of his site, which I thought was a little annoying and unsolicited.
Having the addresses in signatures and the like is no problem.
