Aussie Stadium

I was reading in the paper the other day that John Symonds, the guy in charge of Aussie Home Loans, is hoping to receive naming rights for the Sydney Football Stadium, calling it Aussie Stadium . This announcement created a bit of controversy here in Sydney with people saying it would be a cringeworthy name for a stadium. But I, myself, don't mind the change too much and believe that it could set a trend overseas with other countries following suit.

In the future we could see Pommy Insurance buying the naming rights for Lord's, renaming it Pommy Cricket Ground . The Americans already have Yankee Stadium, but it's not unforseeable that one day there may be a new stadium built called the Septic Bowl !

Problem with the name Aussie Stadium is it sounds too much like Stadium Australia.
Come to think of it, maybe that makes sense. Stade de Oz looks like the SFS on steroids, so maybe it should have a larger version of the same name.
