When I popped out of my mothers womb I said 'ye mon!'

I have been a fanatical WI supporter since I was a baby. Sick of seeing so much potential not being developed over the last 20 yrs. Narine is a star as is bravo.... Pity they have no guidance to take the next step.

Pollard can be a explosive test batsman, but they deny him the opportunity.

Obviously a birth right then

Darren B's effort to get in his crease during the first ODI was disgraceful. Very disappointing. WI just lack that little bit of effort.

Seems the West Indies board have been reading GH's posts (glad somebody does).

Chris Gayle, the West Indies batsman, is scheduled to meet officials from the West Indies Cricket Board and CARICOM in St Vincent on Monday to discuss his future with the West Indies team. The Jamaica Gleaner has reported that Gayle is likely to either submit an apology or retract his comments made against the board and the coach Ottis Gibson during a radio interview.

"A meeting has been arranged for tomorrow morning (today) between Gayle, the WICB and a few heads of government in a bid to arrive at an amicable solution that could result in Gayle returning to the team," Fritz Harris, the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) secretary, was quoted as saying in the paper.

I've had minimal sleep in the last few nights on interstate trip, i'll be watching tonights game. Henry......I will post but by all means you don't have to read them.

If Gayle plays in the tests, it could be competitive. Remember chanderpaul will be playing, and this will add experience at the key openers spot.

Really hope Pollard gets a chance at test level, I think he could break into test cricket like Warner did.

If the board give Gayle the go ahead, you would expect them to do the same with Pollard too.

Could be a very interesting series.

Public holiday in St Vincent. Gee, they have done this before and I recall Dominica had one especially for an ODI against SA a few years ago.

Spec mOd?....explain

Well, gotta prepare for the ambush come Round 18 you see ;)

We get along cricket wise mate, you know your cricket i like that, but, seriously, a mod.....shit mate......henry jr just uninvited you to drinks!

I only do it for a profit, a bit of a sideshow - need to keep food on the table somehow.

Sri Lanka 7/183 against BAN. If the home side win they make the final. Looks possible... Not than any of you care about the Asia Cup.

Yep, we have an Essendon supporter modding Lethal's lounge. Tis a brave new world.

We're very progressive indeed.

We assumed that considering I've seen about 5x as many Hawthorn games compared to Essendon ones it was just a natural progression. The main Hawks board will be next :D

Given the state of the pitches in the WIndies at the moment, and the state of Clarke's rooters back all but ruling him out from bowling, wonder if we are going to see Lyon and Doh as dual spinners for the test series, especially now that Watson will return.

Siddle
Hilf/Patto
Watson
Lyon
Doh

For anyone who has watched the series, has the ball swung at all?

I still think the balance of our side is wrong. Too many bowlers for mine. Watson has to bowl 10. Christian and Hussey need to bowl 10 between them. The tail is too long.

Well, we were struggling to make 200 runs and then we go and drop a batsman. Go figure

Good to see a Hawks jumper in the crowd nice and early in the broadcast tonight.

Lee has been very unlucky in this first over - first ball called a wide when it wasn't; LBW turned down that was clearly out and Watson wouldn't refer it. Hope it gets better for him soon or it's going to be a long night.

Just noticed this Spec Mod situation....a Scum supporter as Mod in Lethal's territory??

That's in poor taste. I object!

Pollard makes a century, cannot wait to see him in test cricket.

Aussies 6-182, the one day side does not have the right balance in my opinion.

Really enjoy watching the crowd having fun.

Lee's innings goes toward a losing cause - remarkable stroke play from him after a shocking start.

Yeah, the side really misses Clarke, and Forrest isn't the right option IMO. Wade is struggling with the bat, unfortunately - that's what our side is lacking, perhaps?
