Straight from your "handsome boy" leader Anthony Albanese's cakehole that's where, see Slippery Pete post above Albo's nearly as good as you blokes at deflecting from the obvious denominator.

Had a look at the transcript of the question and response:

JOURNALIST:
Prime Minister, just to follow on Reuben's question, is radical Islam in your view the greatest domestic security threat Australia faces?

PRIME MINISTER: Well, the assessments are that, that is one of the issues that we're dealing with. But I want to deal with all of the threats, whether it be extremist perversions of Islam leading to support for the ideology promoted by ISIS, whether it be also concerned about the issue of sovereign citizens killing police in Victoria and Queensland. I'm concerned about neo-Nazis thinking it's okay to march down our streets dressed in black, not worrying about their faces being covered, explicitly promoting that as well. Some of these things are not new. James Saleam, National Action person, tried to kill Eddie Funde from the African National Congress. When I was a student, I was a candidate against that reprehensible fascist at Sydney University in 1983. This has been around a long period of time. Issues have escalated and we need to take action against all of them.

What's getting you so riled up?

Also its fantastic to see that you're reading all the posts in the thread. I thought you'd just ignored the discussion we were having regarding hate speech laws yesterday, seeing as you abandoned it. So I look forward to your response on those 👍

LOL

Nah you were trying to catch me out and missed your mark. One so called Sovereign citizen Dezi Freeman murdered 2 Policeman that had come to serve a warrant for his arrest, that has nought to do with religion based ideology, it was Albo doing his best attempt at deflecting from the way way bigger problem.

And btw I'm all for arresting any form of protestor that wears masks or any form of face covering to hide their identity from prosecution. Neo-Nazis is a movement that should be hit with the full force of the legal system if they so much as tiptoe over the line but to mention an isolated case of a deranged so called Sovereign citizen was a pure deflect.

The entire press conference with many questions was about the Bondi shootings, Islamist extremism and gun laws. You've cherry picked a completely reasonable answer towards the end of the conference when he was asked about threats. Actually, you haven't cherry picked it - the algorithm you've got rammed down your throat has picked it for you.

I was trying to "catch you out" when? During our discussion about hate speech laws? Nah, that's called a bit of pushback on your ill-informed views. And again, you haven't responded.

Great lists there Pete…again, bit of a dodgy source but I think we all know the figures are mostly correct in this case.. thanks for supplying the info..

However… theres one glaring omission..
Where’s Brenton Tarrant in these lists you have linked to?
51 Islamic church goers gunned down by an Australian white christian nationalist.

Why leave him out of all these lists?

And the only reason Tarrant didn’t undertake his terror attack on Australian soil was because he couldnt get the military assault rifles he wanted to use due to our gun laws. He wanted the ability to live stream himself killing as many muslims as he possibly could and he knew to do that he needed military style assault rifles..

Those gun laws of ours are great arent they Petey.. but we can always improve on them which will, hopefully, happen with some bipartisanship from all sides.

So… We really need to add Tarrant in there to your lists too right?.. he really should be placed about here…

Based on verified sources up to Dec 19, 2025:

1. Neo-Nazis: 0 confirmed deaths in Australia.

2. Sovereign Citizens: 5 deaths - Wieambilla (2022): 3 (2 police, 1 civilian) - Porepunkah (2025): 2 police

3. Islamic Terrorists: ~22 deaths - Lindt Cafe (2014): 2

4. christian white nationalist - Brenton Tarrant - 51 deaths

After all.. cant really argue that Tarrant wasnt one of ours right?.. even though his attack was in NZ.. which if we are honest is somewhat of a quasi Australian state.

Also… do you notice the other thing these lists you have provided Petey?…

One glaringly obvious thing about the Aussies involved?

Can you see it Petey?.. is it starting to click?

All these atrocities were undertaken by hard right wing Australians.. be it radicalised islamists, christians or batshit crazy sovereign citizens/conspiracy theorists.. or a mix of both in the case of the Wieambilla trio..

All from your side of politics.

Not a single one of these “lefty” creatures, you guys seem to like to blame for everything, in sight.

Just as its the hard right wing extreme sides in Isreal and Palestine that are the cause of the atrocities that seem to be inspiring many of the terror attacks around the world..

It’s good to see you are finally taking steps to see whats really going on here Petey.

i’m very proud of you.

I dont if he did this because of political pressure or just common sense. Kudos to Chris Picton if this was his honest decision for ordering this reinstated. I'm not sure if that is entirely the case.

"A nativity scene installed at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital hasbeen removed after the health service received a complaint saying it caused “offence” and “distress”.The move has been labelled “outrageous” by the opposition, which saysother faiths and cultures are “openly celebrated and encouraged” withinthe health system. The Advertiser, tipped off by the opposition, sought comment from HealthMinister Chris Picton on Friday morning. About 30 minutes late,r he revealed he had ordered the nativity scene reinstated.“I have immediately instructed the acting CEO of the hospital to reversethe removal,” Mr Picton said."

The Editorial in todays "Tiser

ANSWERS NEEDED ON NATIVITYSCENE FARCE
The mysterious replacement of a nativity scene at the Women's and Children's Hospital has sparked disbelief across South Australia.SA Health refuses to reveal the nature of the complaint that led to Wednesday’s decision, but confirmed a new nativity scene was installed on Friday – only after Health Minister Chris Picton intervened to restore the festive tradition. Each year, a nativity scene sits among Christmas decor atthe hospital, lifting the spirits of patients and staff alike. The Advertiser was told by a source late on Friday, several hours after itsoriginal story was published, that the complaint may not be religiously motivated. But the lack of transparency by SA Health earlier in the day invited accusations of political correctness gone mad and fuelled an avoidable public row. If the reasons weren’t about religion, a clear explanationperhaps could have spared controversy.

So what you’re suggesting is every PM or every politician who has ever attended a funeral for someone they have never met has been invited? Are you seriously suggesting that?

What I would suggest more likely to happen in this instance is the PMs people would reach out the families and state their desire to attend and they’d be allowed to, after all it would generally be an honour to have the PM attend a loved one’s funeral. Do you believe this happened in this case? For any of the victims?

Seems your excuse is a desperate and weak attempt to run protection for your weak Labor PM.
Im not suggesting anything..

Youre the one wondering why the PM hasnt attended a funeral.. And it’s you raising the question of whether PM’s have rocked up to funerals unannounced in the past.. I mean.. while you are at it.. do you have any examples of this actually occurring in the recent past?

I’m just trying to help you out by giving some very valid reasons as to why a Prime Minister of any ilk wouldn't just rock up unannounced to a funeral.

Do you not believe that a PM turning up to a funeral unannounced might cause some issues George?.. massive security and policing one’s for a start..

Surely even you can see that?.

lol, you’re not suggesting anything but then go on about the PM can only rock up unannounced if not invited.

I told you how it would more than likely happen.

How else do you think PMs or politicians go to the funerals of people they don’t know, do you think it’s by invitation only?

You’re not trying to help me out, you’re trying to help your defence of a pissweak PM. If it was ScoMo you’d be all over him.

Your first sentence doesnt even make sense..

But regardless..

The PM didnt turn up to a funeral.. you think he shouldve.. even unanounced and uninvited..
these facts seems to have really triggered you..

And i’ve simply tried to give you some reasons as to why a PM wouldnt just rock up to a funeral unannounced and uninvited..

The main one being the massive security and policing requirements and logistics that would come with his presence.

There are no doubt many other factors.

End of the day.. if it has triggered you so much maybe you’ll have to ask him for all the details and reasons for the decision.. send him a letter and ask him.

Lol, triggered?

Why are the only 2 options he is invited or rocks up unannounced? I’ve posted twice now what the procedure would be.

Pathetic Clam even by your standards.

Pretty clear that the hate merchant X and Facebook algorithms are in overdrive, Bearded Clam. They don't realise that they've been captured by the same process that the far left activists have.
How about you pj? Do you think a PM rocks up unannounced to a funeral or is invited? Is there another option he if wants to show his respects and isnt scared of the backlash?

I honestly don't know, and if he attended then fine, or if he didn't attend then fine. I think it's conflated outrage at a time when you'd hope key leaders were pretty measured. The average person probably prefers politicians stay away really, but if they attend then it's not here nor there.

But your whole message is confusing though George..

Did you want the PM invited?

Did you not want him invited?.

Did you want him to turn up uninvited?

Was he even invited at all?

Which is it George?

Then you claim no one really needs to be invited to turn up at anyones funeral anyway!

I couldnt give two fxxks either way.. its none of my business who turns up to anyones funeral.. PM included.

I was simply pointing out that for a PM (and thats any PM from any side of politics) to turn up to a funeral, or any event in public or private settings, isnt just a matter of them rocking up.. there are huge security, policing and logistics concerns that need to be considered and implemented first.

The PM isnt just any run of the mill politician.. they are the head of the country..

If you cant grasp these very basic realities.. then I really cant help you George.

I want the Prime Minister to not hide behind “I wasn’t invited” bullshit excuse and show his respects at least and asking if it was ok if he attend.

It’s only confusing to you because you’re trying to make it confusing, another attempt to defend a pissweak PM.

You don’t think the PM should at least make the effort and not hide?

Ok what about a PM using the excuse he wasn’t invited for the reason he didn’t go?

As for conflated outrage, what if it was ScoMo?

I've said, clearly, it's neither here nor there. You're very concerned about it, I'm not. I don't know what else to say.

If Scott Morrison was leading Australia right now I wouldn't be saying he was personally responsible or had blood on his hands or that he's a disgrace for going/not going to a funeral. Similar to how I didn't go after Howard for Port Arthur or Abbott for Lindt or Turnbull for Gargasaulos or whatever f*cked up extremists have done.

I'll go after Albanese or Morrison or whoever for stuff that I think are their fault or they're responsible for.

Cmon, a PM shouldn’t hide because he’s going to cop a bit of shit and make a bullshit excuse, he’s been to the site once FFS and that was early Monday morning

Come on george.. youre way better tahn this..

I understand u think Albo is a w***er..

I thought Scomo, Turnbull and abbott were w***ers..

its an Aussie pasttime for us to stick it to the PM especially when that PM is from the side of politics you dont normally vote for..

But you’ve gone a little over the top with this one..

There is no way I wouldve ever blamed Abbott for rhe Lindt cafe attack.. or Howard for pt Arthur..

Thats just ****n really low politics..

Just as you attacking Albo over this maybe/coulda/shoulda bs about a funeral is..

Well, well.

Well, well, well.

In the end, Waratah was not required to inject its power. The “Lack of Reserve 2” situation – where power supplies would be at risk of coming up short if another big generator tripped or failed – was cancelled soon after 7pm, and all directions were also cancelled.

The situation on Thursday was repeated on Friday, when it was directed to hold 725 MWh from 4.20pm before the direction was cancelled just over an hour later. Again, an LOR2 situation had been declared.
