Is it true he wore make up against the Geelong Falcons. If so, should not get drafted because AFL is a mans game, not a sheilers game! Have a decent look at yourself Sharp!

i doubt this is true, even if it is who gives a ********. he can do what he wants cause the guy is a good player from what ive seen.

so scummings do you refuse to support shane woewodin because he has a solarium in his house? didnt woewodin win a brownlow in a mans game?

well bare in mind that he may have kicked the winning goal but a score was all that was required.....Having said that, it won the game and it actually won the carnival......Wigboy can you advise me to where you got those stats and is there a link to the tac stats....I would luv to check them out

i was speaking to his elder brother to-day after the Eastern Rangers game. He enformed me that ben has had a fracturd leg for the last week and a half. You would have to give him full credit for playing with a fractured bone in his leg in a game, period

I would think it rather foolish myself. He didnt help his team at all yesterday. I think they might have been better off bringing in a kid that was 100% fit & not a liability. You could see that he wasnt going to go in to anything & he was quite slow (naturally)

Yeah, definitely wasn't right on Saturday, that would explain it.

i think that sharp would be better playing at 75% than someone else that they bring into the game. Without him they would have lost leadership as he is one of the major leaders at the club. from my sources the leg wasn't fractured as previously thought, but was badly badly brused to the bone. he hasnt had the best finals series, but wont stop clubs drafting him. His leg should be fine for the draft camp where he will show all the clubs how athletic he is. Reckon he will be drafted more for his athletic ability than his not so polished off skills. Afterall, afl is more athletic and a endurance sport these days.

The prospect of him being drafted is not the issue. The issue is whether he should have played on Sat. He was nowhere near 50% so your 75% goes out the door.

Those of you who criticise Sharp for being a 'soft' 'outside' player should take note of this.

A couple of years ago Leigh Matthews was asked who he thought was Brisbane's toughest player. He didn't choose any of the so-called 'hard-nuts' such as the Scotts, J Brown, Voss, Pike or Leppitsch. Instead he said Nigel Lappin (probably the skinniest, least physically intimidating lion) because he was the hardest gut-running player he had ever seen and simply refuses to give in to fatigue or lactic acid.

Sharp may not be a hardball-get specialist but if you saw how hard he runs during a game you would know he has the leigh matthews/nigel lappin type toughness.

Don't know why ppl are calling him soft. Seen him put his body on the line a number of times. He's a great reader of the play, but doesn't get his own ball, he prefers to wait out side the packs and recieve.
Be suprised if he goes in the first round.
