Backing up Wii games

I heard you need a mod chip or something to back up games to a dvd? What's required and how do you go about getting it?

The mod chip is needed to play the backup games, u can get it installed at a few places but the best place i found is ace game store in st.albans preston n some other places cant remember where else tho.
To backup games u need a special dvd drive . The dvd drive u need is LG gdr 8161,8162,8163 or 8164, ur best bet to find one of these drives is on ebay as i dont think they are in production anymore but i could be wrong.
Itll cost u bout $50ish for it but its defintly worth it

Yeah i would be thinking of getting a freeloader provided it doesn't interfere with wii updates or online play. DVd crave will be getting some in very soon (they emailed me about them) & the bonus is it doesn't effect your warranty like mod chips do
