Backline Help

It is pretty obvious to me that the backline is holding me back. I'd like to get rid of O'Hailpin, Adam Hunter (expected back around round 12) or Harry Taylor. Although i think Taylor is likely to play most games this season and average around that 50 or 60 mark which could be worse.

I am reasonably happy with my midfield although would probably like to include Corey or Bartel in there, perhaps at the expense of Ablett as I'm a little suspicous of his injury problems.

Currently have $70,400 in the bank.

Any help appreciated.

Wona would be your cash cow in your backline. He'll peak soon so trade him before he bottoms out. I'd look to get rid of O'Hailpin and Adam Hunter. O'Hailpin is a crab and wouldn't get even one look on my team and Adam has been a shadow of his former self this season. Even as an Eagles supporter, I would tell you not to bother with keeping him. Even when he does get back, he'll need at least 2-3 games to get him back to speed.

Overall your team looks quite solid, like you mentioned your backline needs some inproving.
but i recommend you could get the amount of points for less money by improving your forward line. Trade out gamble, and get josh kennedy, u'll come out about level cashwise. kennedy has a better average and is about to play his third game. so you would expect his price to go up anyway. there may be some easy points and money here. (just a suggestion).
I also say that you should drop J Brown. he may play a few more games, but due to his ongoing injury he will not perform up to expected. Sorry i dont have any decent suggestion for who to trade to but some research will yield decent results for his price u might be able to make some cash for a decent player.

thanks for the advice. have been thinking about trading out Jonno Brown too, although something tells me he is going to bounce back quite strongly. The only person that comes to mind straight away to trade for J Brown is Brad Johnson, and he is just returning from injury.

Will have to think of some others.
