Bad Behaviour by MFC fans at games

never had any troble at the footy ..... and i m a richmond fan ,,,,,, dont know if i could

pour a beer over someones head ? what a waste

worst thing i said to some pies fan ,,,, when newman snapped his leg 2 years ago

(((( he said thats good another 21 to go like that))) u like watching that sort of stuff do you

even the other pies fans were dissgusted

When Brown broke his leg we started a chant of "THERE'S ONLY ONE NATHAN BROWN WHO CAN WALK.. ONE NATHAN BROWNNNNNNNNNN WHO CAN WALK". Disgraceful behaviour but we were a bit carried away.

Meanwhile it seems like QB brings out the worst in everybody.

Yeah QB always brings out some rippers - one Collingwood feral, mullet haired and everything, was blatantly racially abusing Aaron Davey in Davey's first year (he tore them up that day too).

I took aim at Leon Davis

"At least our _____ _____ do something with it" I believe were the exact words."

Oh and at a Richmond game I fired out repeated four letter words and took glee in Whelan busting Brown's leg - which seemed to irk a Richmond fan sitting in front of me who also happened to be a priest who had his daughter with him. This resulted in him politely requesting I stop swearing.

Telling a man of the lord to "____ off" and "go stick a bible up your arse" was probably taking it a bit far. But I said it with a smile so I'm sure he knew I was kidding.

Some very funny stuff here fellas, even though i am a mad roo fan bought a couple of Demon memberships this yr to help the cause. Think the players have just lost all confidence , but it will return and when it does hope u all get your barracking mojo back and can write about some more footy anecdotes.:thumbsu:

Posted this one on Demonology a while back, but it's worth a re-run because it's pure gold.

I remember when I was a little kid and it was Choco Williams' first game for Collingwood at the MCG. He asked my father, 'Excuse me mate, where are the rooms?' My old man replied, 'Just walk down there ...' and pointed in the direction of the old Ponsford stand.

Which you may remember was the opposite direction to where the old clubrooms were.

QB 05. The Melbourne members area on level 1 next to the AFL members section. midway through the 4th quarter someone, not sure who, kicks the sealer for us. The Pies supporters get up to leave and all the members are standing up and waving all at once. The best moment of my life.

I was at that game (Not in the members, but I saw the aforementioned incident on the replay), what a great game :D.

ur a champion mate... its a pity a few more melbourne supporters cant get out nd put their money on the table... no good waiting til we improve if we dont have a team... QB is definetly a major day for heated words, but i have also had repeated informal discussions at essendon games as well.. telling them "u guys are ____ing worse than collingwood supporters is a great way to start conversation...

A bit harsh, but gold nevertheless. :thumbsu: :p

2004 QB was great when the Demon supporters unfurled that massive banner after the game that read "FINALS OVER". You don't really see much of that these days.

I recall my old man almost being punched up virtually every season. It was a tradition of some sort for him.

From the age of about 12 to 16 or 17 we'd head along to every game, he'd have a couple of beers but not to many, bucket loads of dim sims and go off.

He never abused other players but gave it to the umpires and anyone who jumped in MFC players he tell them to ____ off.
Once we were surrounded by a group of 8 Pies ____wits who were racially abusing the Wiz, the old man said he'd throw them off level 2, which we were on if they did it again.. They all preceeded to do it... he tried to get one over the edge, then used me as a shield as they tried to knock him over. ahhh good times, good times. The big lugg would be turing in his grave to see us at the minute.

I had the same thing last year against the Dogs, the game Benny Holland kicked about four and we won easly. Me dad and me and my mate were sitting infront of a group of about 5 or 6 really old Doggies supporters, and every time Aaron Davey or Byron Pickett got the ball one of them kept going, the the ____ing black fella, come on get the black ____. After about the third time dad got really pissed off and turned around and said something like "stop ____ing abusing davey you old ____ fart. typical old prick. why don't you go back to your ____ing retirement village you rasict s___!!" to which i think one of them had a heart attack. of course they left almost straght away. And although what dad said may have been rude there is not place for rascism at footy.

Stick phat with the Dees they will come good but there may have to be a cleanout . Thought last yr Melbourne would have a big yr but mass injuries led to losses which led to losing confidence. The older players will have to be looked at if things dont change by about rd 11 and the club will have to make some hard decisions on careers. Its ashame as i still think theres plenty of talent at the club but confidence is very low at the moment.

Many, many years ago I took my then new girlfriend (now wife) to a game against Carlton. Sitting in the then Red seats, with the corporate Carlton w***ers above us in the boxes. I thought I was actually quite mild that day, just saying the usual stuff "Why don't you all drive back to North Balwyn and stop off at Lygon Street for a cappacino on the way", really pithy things like that.

Needless to say, my then girlfriend (now wife) refused to go the footy with me again and labled my behaviour as disgusting. Took 15 years to get her back to the footy.

Between this, drenching a 6 year old in beer and sticking it to a priest with small kids you should probably be banned from the footy. Not on mate.
