Bad week to have a bye

The bye is always tough to get through but this week is a shocker as far of games that we can alternatively look forward to as football followers.

I dont see one game this weekend that can get me excited about watching. Nice week for tipsters but all games look shockers.

Wont even watch Friday nights to see the Hird honeymoon go back into the honeymoon suite. We were like the mother in law turning up.

Worst Grand Final replay in history.
Fremantle would be a shot against the Hawks if it was over there.
Carlton to make us feel worse about losing to Port Adelaide.
Sydney-Brisbane only offer up our next two opponents.
Gold Coast have entertaining players but their big losses to good opposition is getting boring.
Kangaroos-Adelaide for those who want to bet on first coach sacked.

If there were some good games I think I would get through the bye alot easier

Melborne should lose to Essendon & St Kilda will lose to Collingwood so even though we won't add to our points tally we should stay 9th & remain knocking on the door.

What makes it worse is that Coburg have a bye as well... what's the story there, 3 byes in the first 10 weeks does very little for player development. Players such as Griff and Edwards could do with game time this week as both could have been comsidered for the swans game the week after.

Yep results will go that way but if we lose both games to Sydney and Brisbane then I think its goodnight nurse for this season. Dont think we can afford to lose to both Brissy and Port Adelaide.

With up to 8 clubs looking for a senior coach at the end of the year i reckon the Dogs will move quickly .

Perhaps to be able to get on the front foot early to get the best out there and not be taking the drabs is something they will take into account.

We all know what happens over the next five years when you are left behind on that one. (cough cough Frawley cough cough)

Not sure what will happen this week if the Cats give them that Rogering as many teams cop a good reaming up there.

But unless they want to make a play for a bloke like Roos or Malthouse (very odd for him to go back there) then as long as Melbourne and Adelaide are not in the market before the end of the year then they will be able to conduct their process at the end of the year and wont need to sack Eade before the end of the year.

Great theres no footy, premier league has finished for the year and it's a long weekend in Perth, so the little wifey has decided this is the perfect weekend to paint the house, she's right but damn it, I want my footy, why the hell wont the AFL just extend the season so we play each other twice and get rid of the non entity that is the NAB cup.

So all in all I cant see more than three clubs looking for a new coach. Adelaide will stay incestial and Melbourne might make the big pitch for Mick but basically the Bulldogs will be able to take thier time in putting assistants through a process.
