He would have got an extention at the end of this season. The writing was on the wall for C. Schwab not D. Bailey.

Are we talking an extension after the Geelong game or before it? Bottom line is that he didn't deserve an extension at any stage.

The Tiges should stop talking to anybody who might actually be sought by another AFL club. They have no money, only a handful of decent players and a horribly unsuccessful culture.

Maybe they could do us all a favour and lure KB back to Punt Road, therefore removing him from our airwaves. Win/win.

What do you base that suspicion on? I agree his stocks were dangerously low at stages during the year but he seems to have boosted his profile by the way he recruited Neeld and various other appointments. I think he'll see out the contract if he chooses to.

Just a suspicion really. I think that Schwab was gone before the Geeling game, but the club needed to act from a football point-of-view so they sacked Bailey instead (couldn't sack both as that would've been even more disastrous). I suspect the board still want Schwab gone but are waiting for the right time, or they may just not renew his contract next year.

I actually think that mayb Schwab has turned it all around.. he's doing a great job wit the club financially nd he's been doing media work again.. plus the new sponsorship deal.. nd wit the total restructure of the footy department I'm pretty sure he'll be more solely in a role which does not involve the footy department meddling.. plus he was on the coaching selection committee nd u don't put ppl on that which ur keen to get rid of..
