Any idea how bad he is - looked like a hamstring maybe.

Jacko said it was same as david rodant last night so i was thinking he must of done his knee - but he also said Kepler got a corky to the buttock and a few minutes latter we saw he's shin strapped

I hope he will be okay for next week and they just took him off as a precaution

Think this was more to reference to the game changing. As soon as Rodan came off last night Port lost control of the game. Same as us tonight.

Hopefully he is okay, because he is definitely one of our most important players.

It seemed when Balla was on the sidelines he was getting work done on his lower abdomen. Don't know where the hamstring thing came from. Hope it's not thats for sure.Sometimes think when those commentators don't know something they make up bs

Apparently a injury behind his knee and not suspected to be a hamstring at this stage. Ballantyne thought he was okay and wanted to come back on but the Docs weren't sure what specifically was wrong so they didn't want to risk it.

As you can see below, the hamstring connects with the knee. So there is a big possibility that it's hamstring related knee soreness. Hope not, as injuries around the tendons can often be a bit tougher to deal with.

I didn't see it on TV but on the ABC radio they said that Balla was not too impressed at being subbed off and didn't want to go out to the 3qtr time huddle. Apparantley Chis Bond went and had words with him on the bench and told him to go to the huddle. Could be a beat up but that sounds like he thought he was good to go and cracked it so I expect he will come up this week.

noticed on tv
when he was off(not yet subbed) an the medicos im guessing were talking to the coach ballantyne didnt look happy about what was being said or what they told him.

Judging on that alone i get the feeling Ballas thought he could of played on.
But since they had a fresh sub waiting to come on they thought it was best to sub off a guy under injury cloud.

Also Fyfe came back onto the ground but if u watch him going for marks he looked to be avoiding contact an getting way underneath the ball.
That has me worried that even though he came back on, there could be an issue there.

According to the Pav interview Ballas is a test and they are hopeful. Fyfe and Kep are expected to play.

He's not the first bloke to crack the shits after getting subbed off.

Hopefully he plays, much as I can't stand the little runt you always want to come up against the opposition's best 22, and you blokes have enough players missing as it is.

Plus it gives me someone to boo:D

According to the FFC Facebook, he's listed as 60/40?

Ballaz is a 60/40 chance of playing this weekend. He has a minor hamstring problem but the club's giving him every chance to play with a fitness test not taking place until Saturday. Good luck Ballaz - we hope to see you out there on Sunday!
