Agree about McMahon - great hands and a super footballer.

Grand Final will be very close. Only 5 points serparated them a few weeks ago and Ballarat thumped Lakers early in the season.

I am going to tip Ballarat because of Lakers choking in Grand Finals and have never won one.

I can't believe Tim Malone from Lake Wendouree didnt make the team of the year. Clearly the best back pocket / back flank player in the league & i think his precission skills & run will be pivotal to Lakers claiming there first flag on the weekend. Paul McMahon great job on the Hendo. has anyone heard how Pyke's hamstring is would be abig loss if he didnt come up.

I can't believe Tim Malone from Lake Wendouree didnt make the team of the year. Good result Macdaddy winning award monday. Foster defiantely worth the flight back from OS.

Lakers - 9 (mcmahon makes up 8 of that!)
Ballarat - 7 Not sure if tall timber will suit the eastern? there midfiled kick alot of goals.

Ben Jordan returned to the lions this year apparently for no money, Pft. plus he has aspirations for a senior coaching role, maybe he is the one for 2011.
I know for a fact he has the respect from his team mates

Power was asked to be coach in 2011. With his business and young family will be looking at an assistant role in 2011. 250k is way over and your sources are talking crap. Ben Jordan came for very little - last player added to the roster. He is best mates with Simon Clarke and is 34. He did not demand a big pay check and will be in the mix for 2011.

Pyke is fit a ready go, will be very interesting at the selection table tonight, do you change a winning side and bring pyke in or stay with the team that got the job done against ballarat 2 weeks ago and won pretty easy, either way lakers should win the flag
