Balme appears to the best in the business. I'd be terribly disappointed to not keep him at the club.
IMO this decision is more important than any potential player trades being discussed.

Wonder who is right?

ROBBO on Neil Balme: “I got told today - not confirmed - that the deal has been done at Richmond."

Bucks: "Neil Balme is excited by the restructured role. The communication from his superiors have been done in the right way."

Sounds very similar to "Mick can't wait to start his new role as director of coaching"

Balme to Richmond. Officially. Haha good on him, I wonder if he told a lie to Buckley saying he was excited, or if Buckley told a lie to us.
Either way, good luck, treat your staff like shit and this will happen!

Can't blame Balme at all. He's got a job upgrade to the one he even had at collingwood before Allan arrived. No loss for us at all though. I'd bring Sanderson in and restructure the footy department. Sanderson to be the senior assistant on a long term deal. He stays even if Bucks doesn't

Well IF the Story has been Lied to by the Club. Then I don't blame him for Leaving for a Better Job.

We never did much with him in Charge anyway

All the best to him, I'm a fan and I'm disappointed that he's not at the club any more. Can't blame him for taking the offer, but we needed to change things up.

So if we retain the structure he was to be a part of, who takes his role?

Good luck to Balme at the Tigers, can understand him making the move after being shifted in to an unneccessary 'director of coaching' role.
Don't see it as a big loss though, I'm still wondering what he actually did for two years after we all got so excited over him coming over from Geelong. He's supposedly a good operator, but I have a feeling Collingwood didn't really utilise him properly in his time there.

But who will deliver the injury updates brought to us by Blackmores now?? Does the long term/medium term/short term stay? Or do we have a new system? So many questions.

Thanks for your service Balmey. Disappointing but can't blame him. My main concern is taking our contemporary trade and draft strategies down Hoddle Street.

Geez the Collingwood director of coaching role has been gone well hasn't it. MM, Eade and Balme. No one wants to help Bucks!
