That's the thing, isn't it. Well known bands' names become household words/terms, and this sometimes covers up how crap the names actually are. Smashing Pumpkins is indeed a stupid band name. The Beatles is totally crap as a band name. So is Cold Chisel. Strapping Young Lad's a silly name for an awesome band. The list goes on.........

I saw them support Living Colour over a decade ago. And have seen them a few times since. Unfortunately. I agree with you, one of the worst bands in Aussie music history. Garage trash. They can barely play their instruments. I interviewed Wil Calhoun from LC at the time. He said in confidence to me that they were one of the worst bands he'd ever heard.

How they got to support those 2 awesome, highly musical bands is beyond me....
