I understand that 'match day experience' is a big thing (even though I couldn't give a rats if I just turned up and the game started then there was silence at the breaks) but what does this add? I'm ok with the stereotype of being a bunch of private school ponces - it's certainly better than some other stereotypes - but this is horrible.

Agreed. Us having the bugler is the stereotypical equivalent of Collingwood throwing a pregame competition for three of its most toothless supporters to fight and scrap their way through a full garbage can to find some food stamps.
