The Eagles are a decent tough side thus year. I know they just lost to Freo, but I feel that was an upset, and WC are better than that. They will be an excellent barometer of our form for the run home.
I am very happy with the ins for this week too. Buckley and Chipper adds a lot of class and power. No offence to Freeborn, he has played his role well this year, and Cole is getting a rest, not a demotion.
We have a very young side in, but the Eagles are a team of contrasts. They have the remnants of their powerful 90's side there (Jacovich/Matera/McIntosh) but a couple of rookies are playing top footy there too (esp Judd).
We can win the way we've won matches all year: I think we can cover their attack, and just match their superior ruck. If we break even everywhere else, our razor sharp attack should find ways through their defense, despite the excellence of the two key defenders.
I don't expect we'll slice and dice them, but I feel we will win a good contest.
