Hi guys,

I was wondering if you can tell me whats going on with BB. I know he injured his knee last year and it required a reconstruction but I was wondering if he is over it yet and is he back playing footy.

Would he be in danger of getting traded or is he still considered a very important part of your team?

He did his knee in the early part of last year so was back up and running for most of this season.

I saw most of Springvale's games and to be totally honest he really disappointed me. It was obvious that he was lacking confidence but one of the things that concerned me the most was his inability to even make it to the marking contests around the ground. He looked slow and uncoordinated and I'm far more worried about whether he has what it takes than I did before the knee reconstruction. At that stage he seemed to be progressing well.

As big men usually take longer to develop and the fact we gave up so much to get him to the club, I imagine he will be given a lot more to develop and I'd really love him to prove me wrong. I just have my doubts.

Fear not Sainter, he'll be right.. The boy was lacking confidence.. it's been well documented.. Motivation is also something which can leave you uncharacteristically during the season.. I played alongside him at stages earlier in the year and he just needs a few good games strung together

That's great to hear.

I suppose my fear was that when I saw him not making it to marking contests around the ground and failing to put pressure on the opposition in the forward line I didn't know if his whole game was just being affected by a lack of confidence or that he may not ever fully recover from the knee injury and that his previous athleticism was gone.

Can I ask who you are by the way? I saw most of the Springvale games this year but if you want to keep that quiet that's no problem.

i dont think barry brooks would get a game at the saints at the moment. I heard he is struggling to come back from his knee operation mentally.
