Pretty sure the next book is very close to being released but who knows how long we'll wait for the final volume. If he does die before finishing it I read someone he's already outlined to a few people how all the plot threads will be wound up so another author can step in and finish it.

The next book has been close for ages now, I've pretty much conceded that the series won't ever be completed

Oh she's eminently ****able, although apparently Emilia Clarke refuses to do nude scenes anymore which I think is shameful & inexcusable. Problem is she's a wooden actress with a handful of facial expressions which all seem to look unnervingly similar and a storyline that has her standing around trying to appear regal most of the time. Mostly I can't stand how she tries to put on this deep authoritative voice which is utterly unconvincing. She was much more believable as a Dothraki whore.

Or Jamie now that he's become Cersei's emasculated lapdog. Some of the best scenes were of those two together, or Bronn & Tyrion. I'm still loving the show but its gone downhill now that so many of the best characters have been killed off and we're stuck with Kristen Stewart-esque "one expression" Daenerys for more & more screentime. Cersei also shits me now that there's noone to keep her in check because the best thing about her used to be watching her squirm.

Oh and Jon Snow has me utterly convinced by now that he will never grow a brain. Really starting to think he deserves most of the shit that comes his way and it'd be nice to see him cut loose & shout a few people down or chuck a hissy fit for once, it sucks that he & Dany are basically the two most important characters in the series and they're also the most one dimensional & least believable.

Props for that shot of Missandrei's arse though, damn near perfection.

Their dumbing down of Little Finger is shitting me, he has been winning the Game of Thrones for a quite a while, but his character's plots make no sense, marry off Sansa to Ramsey, for what purpose, never happened in the books. If they kill him off in this continuing fashion, I'll be very shitty.

Little Finger and Varys plotting and scheming against each other for two seasons was some of the best parts of the first two seasons.
