Pick #1 - Melbourne - Jack Trengrove Height: 185cm, Weight: 82kg, HFF/Mid
Rate him better then Scully, Good skills and should go either Pick #1 or #2

Pick #2 - Melbourne - Tom Scully Height: 182cm, Weight: 74kg, Midfidler
Arguebly the best player in the Draft, Melbourne come away with the 2 best midfielders in the
draft. Melbourne will be happy with those 2 selections.

Pick #3 - Richmond - Dustin MartinHeight: 187cm, Weight: 86kg, Midfidler/forward
I really like this kid, And he shows alot of upside and potential. He has good skills on both feet and moves well. Tigers would be extatic with picking up this kid.

Pick #4 - Fremantle - Anthony Morabito Height: 190cm, Weight: 90kg, Midfidler
Tall Midfielder from WA. Easily could turn out into the best player in the draft.

Pick #5 - North - Ben Cunnington Height: 186cm, Weight: 84kg, Midfidler/forward
Hard at it midfielder, Fits scotts criteria : Good skills and Work rate of a machine.

Pick #6 - Sydney - Luke Tapscott Height: 180cm Weight: 86kg Foward/Midfield
Tapscott could be going a bit high, But he has alot of upside. Wins a fair bit of ball and and his Skills are good.

Pick #7 - WCE - Kane Lucas Height: 188cm Weight:79kg Forward
WA Boy, WCE could end up taking Jetta buti see Lucas as a very good player and he has plenty of skill and upside. Lucas could
be the one to solve WCE's small forward problem. If WCE Don't take him Port or Essendon will snap him up.

Pick #8 - Port - John Butcher - Height: 197cm, Weight: 84kg, Tall forward
IMO Best Tall foward in the draft and Port will snap him up.

Pick #9 - Port - Daniel Taila Height: 194cm Weight: 89kg Defender/KP Player
Taila had a stand out Carnival playing for Vic Metro. He can play both ends of the ground but is noteable for his Defensive skills.
Clean hands, He is that sort of player that can go foward and kick that vitial goal. Or take that match winning mark down back.

Pick #10 - Essendon - Jake Melksham Height: 182cm Weight: 69 Midfielder
Melksham is a midfielder, He is strong and hard at it. Clean skills by foot and hand. Bombers would be happy if Melksham was available at Pick #10.

Pick #11 - Melbourne - Lewis JettaHeight: 178cm, Weight: 72kg, DOB: 04/05/89 Small Midfielder
Fast Skillful player, Will fit into Melbournes team. Can play Midfield or Foward.
Will give them just boost through the midfield or up foward.
With allready taking Trengrove and Scully, You could say Jetta is the cherry on the cake.

Pick #12 - Carlton - Gary Rohan Height: 186cm Weight: 76 Forward
Rohan could be well gone before it gets to Carltons pick, But i have him going to Carlton. Rohan is a good overhead mark and Has good skills.
Carlton will be happy with this pick.

Pick #13 - Adelaide - Jordan Gysberts Height 188cm Weight: 83kg Midfielder
Gysberts looks good, Good skills can go forward and kick goals. Averaged 19 Disposalss 1 goal a game this year.

Pick #14 - Sydney - Aaron Black - Height: 193cm Weight: 78kg Forward
With already taking a Midfidler, They will look at getting a developing foward to the club just incase Bradshaw doesn't fall through.
Athletic Key Forward that has good Agility and awareness for his size.

Pick #15 - WB - Koby Stevens Height:187cm Weight: 83kg Midfielder
Best Available, some people say Bulldogs need a KPF but i disagree. Koby should add some talent to the Bulldogs midfield and give them some extra stocks.
Wins alot of contested ball and has good hands.

Pick #16 - Port - Brad SheppardHeight: 186cm 78kg Defender
After taking Tall Foward Butcher and KP Player Taila, port will look to draft a small with this pick and they have done well with picking up
Sheppard. He could go top 10 but he could fall out of the first round. I have him going to Port on needs. Port have done well with Butcher, Taila and Sheppard

Pick #17 - Geelong - Troy Taylor Height: 188cm Weight 75kg Forward
Exciting forward that has good foot and hand skills. Also can take a Mark, Has been compared to Damien Motlop

I like your picks for Freo up until #48 where i think we may take Houghton if he is still available. i've known the kid since 2005 & although cocky is a nice person. also a smooth mover on the field.
but congrats anyway, you obviously know lots more than me about the young kids. i could not do one of these drafts myself. Just have not seen most of the players.

Mitch Thorp at #43 for the Blues is an interesting selection.
As it also seems we will take McGuire at pick #59

from a Port perspective.... YUCK!

If Blair Hartly picks Melksham before Cunnington he'd want to up his security. I dont mind taking Talia at 9, especially if Butcher is already gone, but to get Panos as well at 16 doesn't make sense. We dont really have a need for 2 talls, we're crying out for midfielders. At 16 i'd much rather a Sheppard, Bastinac, Moore or Taylor out of the players you still have available at 16.

Well, I will have my updated draft with explanations up in the next week or so after i get my homework and studying out of the way:thumbsu:

kk ill reserve judgement till then. my advice when selecting midfielders for clubs, generally clubs will go best available. Theres a gap between the midfielders most people are selecting as top 10 and those just on the otherside. Its not huge but it is noticable and i have melksham along with stevens just on the other side. The exception in the top 10 is probably tapscott who could go anywhere from 6 to 20 imo. I just cant see sides passing on say Lucas for Stevens or Melksham, as much as Bombers fans might hope that they do :) Personally im a wrap for Melksham and would love him at pick 16 if he's available, however when push comes to shove with top 10 picks.

Yes it is a big call, But i will keep it that way.
I will have my explanations up in the next couple of days over the weekend for most of the draft and i will try to do a 4th round :thumbsu:

I think he was being sarcastic with the "big call" ;)
Isn't it obvious that Scully and Trengrove will go top 2?
