I read a thread recently where a few Richmond supporters seemed to be convinced that Beau Dowler would be traded from Hawthorn.

Someone (can remember which poster) claimed that Dowler had discussions with Miller and was almost certainly going to leave as he had been given a chance at Hawthorn.
Another poster claimed that Dowler and Miller had discussed going into PSD. That way Hawthorn would get nothing for him.

It seems that this poster and his friends didnt have a very reliable source.


Dowler has today signed on for another 2 years :thumbsu:
 
Even if that was the case buddy, coming on to the Richmond forum and giving a vague, hazy recollection of something you think you read by a Richmond poster isn't really very interesting.

Besides, Dowler, like many players two years into their careers, has done absolutely nothing so far.
 
Another hawks fan (cant remember which poster) has said that they wanted to get rid of dowler and most richmond fans (cant remember which poster) don't want dowler....so i couldnt give 2 stuffs if dowler signed on for 2 years or 10 years

The posts were just a bunch of BF postulating and speculation. Nothing to get to fired up about.

Im not buddy , although i am from WA.

It wouldnt be a vague hazy recollection if i was able to search back a few more pages. Not my fault that this isnt possible.

I never said that i think i read it , I did read it and it was from Richmond supporters.

I never said that Dowler had done anything in his career so far either.

It's seems that some of you are a tad sensitive at the moment. Why ?

there is no need for personal insults. It says more of your own character and insecurity

if you werent 1 of the posters on that thread then you'd have no reason to be upset.

It was directed at the few posters who acted like they knew for certain ,but have now been proven wrong
 
Apologies for diverting the conversation from hurling abuse (a topic I quite enjoy) to Dowler, but he's most certainly not the worst pick up. Was in a car crash - which would stunt the development of a potential-packed KPP. However, I wouldn't give up a lot.

That said, a pet hate of mine are threads were we're being linked to players with no evidence, which seems to be the case here so I'll leave it at that.

And back on topic, you're all f****** w****** c****. ;) :)

No because it's in the middle of nowhere whereas Punt Rd. is viewed by tens of thousands each day from the road and the platforms on Richmond station.

I know where I'd be displaying my advertising dollar
 
So the only use for your clubhouse is for putting advertising on ? Great comeback.

Obviously from your results this year you're not using it to train your players.

Just remember that you guys haven't done anything yet, and that you've been worse than Richmond on average over the past 5 years, which isn't saying much. You've got nothing to be cocky about.
 
Who cares.

Dowler is a shadow of the player he was in the 2005 Championships.

That accident has really taken its toll on him - he no longer crashes the packs anymore - even at VFL level, and I suspect his once explosive leading pace has been reduced a bit.

The accident has truley changed him as a player IMHO. But in saying that - he's still young and has plenty of time to turn it around.

I'm sorry that I have to expand here.
In a few years after the redevolpment finishes we will not only have a clubhouse the equal or better , but it will be 1 km from the city rather than half way to Bairnsdale.
Location ,location as they say. Not just for hanging advertising , but for all supporter needs.;)

think you'll find most tiger fans are relieved that Miller didnt pursue this one any further and deliver us another cluster %^$ of a recruit...our attention would be better served elsewhere:thumbsu:
