A great band. Some absolute classics that none of us will forget.

I prefer their stuff from the 60's, "To Love Somebody" and "I've Gotta Get Message To You" are my favs.

Not sure where I fit them into my estimation.
Some of their earlier stuff was Ok, NY Mining Disaster 1963 from the 60s and Run To Me from the very early Seventies.
Some brilliant work in the late Seventies, fuelled by Saturday Night Fever. Night Fever, More Than A Woman, How Deep Is Your Love, Too Much Heaven & Love You Inside Out, all hits in 1978 / 79, represent IMO their high point.
Have produced nothing of value though since " He's A Liar ' in late 1981.
