He's been a little unlucky so far Duggie.

Started off the season as an emergency and the team will be making only their second change for the season this weekend.

He wasn't listed as injured but I don't think he played in the VFL last weekend. However he's named in the team to play against Williamstown on Saturday.

His form had been OK before that but he's currently in a list of players that includes X Clarke, R Clarke, Hudghton, Maguire, McEvoy, Armitage, Miles, etc who are all queueing up for a senior game.

Not sure why we took him. Insurance for Goddard/Gram/Fisher maybe?

He looks a league above playing for Sandy. Not sure how he'll go for the Saints.

I thought he looked quite average against Casey, but played well against Frankston. Hopefully he is fit for this week.

Depth player at best, nothing more. Our backline is too strong and there's no place for him.

I'm glad we got him. Loved his attitude playing for Ireland to show something to AFL clubs so he could get drafted and I said then that we should get him. It's been a knock on St. Kilda for a while that we're slow, apart from Gram and maybe Joey. Farren Ray is giving us good run as well now and, even though Begley will probably be a depth player, he's a pretty good one. That being said, I hope he doesn't play seniors, because that will mean that someone ahead of him will have been injured...
