But thanks for the Amoral recomendation. Have listened to their stuff again, blows me away. Will be grabbing their album(s) soon....
 
I checked out your bands myspace roddy. What do you do in the band? For ages i worked with a couple guys from Adelaide bands Bloom and Lazaros dog. Muso's are weird people man :p
 
I hit the skins. Very hard. I'm not much chop, but I love it too much to stop! The stuff you hear there is from an EP that's over 2 years old. Our new album will be out by the end of the year. It's a massive improvement on that stuff.
And yes, musos can be odd. But we drummers, we're all totally cool! :)

Behemoth is ****ing nasty live. I've seen them twice so far (soon to be three in November), and they never fail to disappoint. Last few shows I've been to, I've ended up damn near mute and deaf for like a week after their show.

ZKC and Demigod are probably my favorite albums.
 
Hadn't heard any of these guys' stuff before. Just listened to 'Conquer All' .. do they have this vocal style on all their stuff? Because it's really bad, and ruins the decent death metal instrumentation.
 
IMO they ****ed up the vocals on Demigod... too multilayered. I personally think Zos Kia Cultus contains Nergal's best vocal performance.

If you don't like extreme vocalization in the first place, however, then you probably won't like this either.

all a matter of taste really, i love the vocal style and imo it suits their music beautifully but as Sandoval alluded to they can sometimes overdo it one way or another in terms of the production

but haven't seen them live before so can't f***** wait:D
 
Yeah it seems like it's more of a production thing. I'll 'obtain' some more of their stuff and see what I think.

edit: Definitely the production. Sounds much better on Zos Kia Cultus. These guys are pretty good.
