Happy new year to all you BFL posters and I hope you all had a great Christmas. May your teams have the best of luck in 2018.

Anyone else heard that Jase Perkins has signed at Port? Great mates with Jesse Smith.
 
Wonder what Ros has gone and done this time! Hope he gets up to something good now he’s got a fair bit of time up his sleeve.

We don't get an awful lot of news here obviously barring what one can read in the Geelong Advertiser online, but summarising what has been seen so far the consensus seems to be a bit of a Dinosaur resurgence, Drizzledale to improve, the Tiggers looking strong again, Port to start back on the way up, and the back end to fall right out of the Scrubbers.
Looks like we've picked up a few handy recruits as well and if we get the Big Frenchman back from the wrecked knee, the Sons Of The Sea will be a power again under Otis. Early draw looks reasonably favourable too, potentially 5 -2 at Round 7. Kill em Coutas!!

Ohh and he moved to Geelong with Jason Davenport & Shane Mumford. He played with & coached both of them.

Not surprised to see Corey Walter red carded and suspended in BPCA.

Should have gotten more than 2 matches from what I’ve heard. Can’t hit a player with your bat then threaten an umpire!

Got off because the umpire didn’t see it happen and OG wouldn’t go to the tribunal as their captain is Walter’s assistant coach at footy. The player he hit had a bat mark on his arm but they didn’t front the tribunal.

He got done for dissent which was 2 matches reduced to 1 with 1 match suspended.
