During episode 8, the Below Deck yachties even received the franchise's lowest tip to date. Following an incredibly high maintenance group's departure, this tip envelope only contained $5,000 to disperse amongst the entire crew.7 Aug 2023

While most guests on the show are generous with their tips, there was one instance where the crew received no tip at all. In their very first charter back in 2013, the crew had to report illegal drug use by the guests, resulting in their removal from the yacht and no tip.17 Sept 2023

After the draining charter was finally over, Captain Glenn Shephard informed the crew that their tip was a measly $6,500 to be divided amongst them. When the episode aired, fans were furious at how cheap Erica and Charles were and slammed them on social media for leaving the worst tip in Below Deck history.22 Mar 2022
