That's not saying much though is it? Most of their managers post Dalglish haven't been good enough for that job.
The main fault I had with Rafa was his stubborness. In his first few years he was obsessed with a rotation policy in his team selection and it cost his team points IMO and towards the end certain players became untouchable no matter how out of form they were.
Now this is another one of those things that Rafa gets hammered for which is just wrong
Recently, Mr Ferguson got the record of most consecative changes to a team starting XI, like the 87th time in a row or something.
Other clubs do it, but just coz it's that fat Spanish waiter and stupid foreigner with their crazy ideas, people talk about it as being a problem. No problems elsewhere though
He is by far better than any manger we've had since Kenny. Record points total for the club (yes, higher than even Shanks, Paisley, Kenny or anyone in one season) in a season, Istanbul (greatest night in the club's history), Fa cup. Genuine challenge to the league for the first time for like 20 years, too. If he did those things at most other clubs, he's be lauded as a legend. He's comfortably sit alongside the company of Shanks, Paisley, Fagan and Kenny and no one would begrudge him
