Strengths: Ben is an AIS graduate who struggled with injury for most of 2003. He had a better 2004, playing as a rebounding half-back flanker. Ben has good endurance and is constantly running past to set up attacks out of defence.
I dare say he would have the most handball receives in the TAC Cup, and be very damaging with his run and long kicking if not closely watched.
Weaknesses: The style of football he plays definitely inflates his stats, and he tends to be unaccountable for his direct opponent. Can miss targets at times.
Footydraft.com comment: Would like to have seen Ben used in a greater variety of positions to assess his potential better. Worth a look for a rookie list.
Is a very very good player...... had the pleasure of playing under him when i was bottom age 16's and he was captain..... when he played (instead of playing jets) excellent leader.
