I dont think this guy has anywhere near the ability and game to play in the AFL but i still think hes been harshly done by. In a week where the pies slow and old midfeild is shown up by a quick and clean midfeild i would have thought the coaching staff would have rejigged the middle. Maybe davies who not only was BOG in the 2's last week, but has been in best consistently, deserved a crack. I reckon hes cr@p but maybe.

I think this decision makes it 100% certain that he is going to be booted out at years end. Bye Ben.

I think if they have made that decision i am fine with them not playing him if they want to rejig the midfield (which they should) Stanly and Wellingham are the ways to go aswell as running Daisy through there, getting Clarke back in and more time in the center for Cook

Toovey i think is playing favourites a lil bit. Taz and Johno misbehaved before the AFL wasn't in its big "taking a stand on player behavior" trend.

Richards and Bryan play becuase we have no other options regardless of VFL form

Didak technically didn't break any direct rules or curfews and the new contract was more then punishment enough. Although i think they did bend there rules for him to play that week

And is Dick Cox and Leon had done it last year they more then likely would have got away with it. There has been a massive move to improve player behaviour right across the league

As for the Mahoney comparisons Mahoney had shown a bit at AFL level then copped that huge knock came back with the helmet and stuff and was not the same player. Went to the dogs got delisted there and then later in his career cameback as a handy foward (was a midfield in his first afl stint) So while i see the comparisons i think Mahoney was a better player and at the time we got rid of him it was the right decision

some sensational points there mate i think its rediculas and he should of been brought in this week im glad tho most pie supporters actually believe that davies has been traeted extreamly poorly
