FORMER Collingwood player Ben Kinnear spoke to SEN after wearing a Fremantle scarf as he sat with ‘Pies supporters during last Friday night’s Collingwood-Fremantle clash at the MCG, saying it was meant to be “just a bit of fun” while watching his old teammate Chris Tarrant face the Magpies for the first time.
“I’m not 100 per cent sure it was the right decision,” Kinnear told SEN this morning.
Kinnear, who made the decision to wear the scarf just before half-time, said there was “no harm intended” and that while he copped plenty of abuse “it was just a bit of fun.”
“… There were a few upset people …” Kinnear said.
“… I just thought it was a bit of fun.”
Kinnear retired in 2004 following 50 games for Collingwood, including the 2003 Grand Final.

But to be honest, I( was more disappointed with the Collingwood supporters who sat on the side of the ground with banners like "Collingwood won't be the same without you Taz" and other crap like that. Grow a spine.
