What are everyone's thoughts on this guy? With a BE of -55, he will definitely be going up in value after this week. But is he a keeper or a cash cow? If using him as a cow, is $228,300 too much to pay for him.

And will he hold his spot in the hawthorn team?

Decisions decisions....

His form has been really good, and while he keeps that up the hawks are gonna be hard pressed dropping him. Young and Hodge will come back into the side sooner or later, but you'd have to think Tuck and Morton are more likely to get the chop than McGlynn.

Will he end up being a keeper? Unlikely.
Will he score lots of points and make you some cash? Looks likely to me.

It really comes down to how he fits with your current situation. I wouldn't be bending over backwards to bring him in. But if your after a downgrade target at that price - go for it.

There are lots of people on the Hawthorn board complaining about how badly he butchers the ball - that always makes me edgy in terms of Super Coach trading.

He 'butchers' the ball as his kicks drop short of the target. Another week's run in the legs and it shouldn't be a problem.

Is our 23-27th player, and about 10th midfielder - so at full strength he's only just on the cusp. Given his 07 form, I'd expect him to be a permanent member of the side from here on however his role may be reduced (HF/tagger rather than onballer) once others return to full fitness. Important players to consider with him are Bateman, Young, Rioli, Osborne, Williams - as those 5 are our 'outlet runners' ahead of him IMO. If they all play, then his only spot is as a tagger, as he's behind Mitch, Sewell, Ellis, Tuck in the middle.

I haven't picked up any of the Hawks rookies as I didn't like their chance of holding spots in the team... however the injuries keep coming...

I see McGlynn as one of the first to go.

The $ look tempting, but i'm avoiding Benny...

Never understood why he hasn't been a lock in their 22 for the last year.
