Ben Reid's gone down again with a calf in the VFL after being BOG for the first three quarters.

This has become beyond a joke now and if it happens one or two more times, he most likely will never be able to play again.

Have the club been able to identify the cause of all these soft tissue injuries? What treatments and techniques can be used to help him? Should he go back to Germany?

Or, unfortunately, is the guy done?

Do we know for sure he is injured? The other thread suggested maybe not?

Also if he gets injured every time he plays, may as well just put him straight in the 1s and he can get injured while contributing, then sup him off :)

if the club is saying cramp he has probably torn his calf again

They did not apply any ice to his calf. Unlikely to be a soft tissue injury.

You don't just give up on an All Australian, those 3 quarters showed why we need him back so bad

Reid on the 3rd tall instead of Goldsack and we become another side, just have to hope he can come good

Are you serious? The bloke is fine, he'll play AFL next week.

Absolutely ridiculous panic

He's not injured you flog. He came off with cramps. He had no ice on his legs, was walking freely around, and was stretching on the boundary during the final term, which is a massive no-no if you have a soft tissue injury. Everything that people saw at the ground was consistent with him having cramps.

Stop being such a goddamn idiot and posting such utter tripe. It achieves absolutely nothing except creating hysteria.

Quoted because this is a good post

Didn't notice he was injured looked pretty jovial after the siren and in the rooms.
Think they saw enough in the 3 qtrs and took him off to rest up for Friday.

They only took him off during the last to get him ready for the Hawks game next week.

Take a chill pill guys.
