Who has him on there list? im sure a few of you guys do.

($140,200) - Scored -4 in round 5,

Is he going to get a game anytime soon?

Worth trading him for Valenti ($83,400) this week before he goes up?

Which would save me 60k+ so then i can upgrade griffin to chapman

OR

Would you say getting valenti for reid is a sideways trade?

I say get rid of him while you can. I had him at the start & he cost me 100k.
Was going to trade him for Hill in rd 3 b4 Hill's price rise & Reid was named that week so I decided to stick with him Needless to say he was a late withdrawal:mad:. So the week after I still made the same trade that i was going to but it cost me 100k more:(

Sideways

Herald sun article today:

"Collingwood forward Ben Reid, the club's first pick in the 2006 national draft, has agreed to a two-year contract extension. Reid, affected somewhat by injury this year, is contracted until the end of 2010."

A 2 year contract for a Newbie means he will get game time when he is fit and a spot opens up IMO. Barring further injury of course.

I've got him as my 9th forward, I've got a playing emergency in Gamble, so it seems like a waste of a trade to switch him out for another rookie, especially considering you'll need yet another trade to sell that rookie and make any real cash. Waste one trade for $60k? Hell no. Waste two for what, $250k? I don't much like that either. He keeps getting named as an emergency so he should get another game eventually.
