Was just going through our injury list, and saw this...

"Ben Reid (foot) - test"

Would you bother risking him now, since he wouldn't be match fit anyway.... I'd just start putting in work for next year in his case.

Could play in the VFL - Those is saying that he could be up for Selection because he is fit but I would doubt he would Play again this season

Nah i reckon save him until next year, and hopefully bring Pebbles in for September.

It will be interesting to see who out of Rusling & Reid will be picked first next year. Keeping in mind that Jack Anthony has performed so well up forward this year and Dawes has been good thus far.

What was the extent of his break? Pendles broke his foot last year but wasnt too serious and came back to play. Rocca this year has to go under the knife.

If its not as serious a foot injury I would rather see him given his chance against Freo than in a finals game. So if he passes his test... I'll go with yes.

I don't think he could or should be brought back to AFL level this year. That said the only thing that could see him get a looking is the form of Cloke closer to goal and the fact that Dawes has been playing more of a decoy foward and leading out to the wings in a CHF fashion. If both are playing as a CHF Reid is the greater option and is more likely to be involved in the game for longer periods of time and may get a look in for that reason.

i never trust those injury reports, gives very litte info and sometimes it seems they arent updated as well as they should.

i dunno
